Display Help for a Specific Property of an Oracle ILOM Target

• Access the Oracle ILOM CLI and display help for a specific property of just one target.

  -> help target property
  

  where:

  • target is any target provided in Understanding Oracle ILOM Targets and Properties.

  • property is a valid property for that target.

  ---

  Note -  If the instance is already at the target, then you do not need to include the target in the help command.

  ---

  For example, to display help for the load_uri property of the /SP/firmware target, type:

  -> help /SP/firmware load_uri
   Properties:
  	load_uri : Firmware load
   		URI syntax and examples:
   			ftp://user[:password]@host//absolute-file-path
   			ftp://user[:password]@host/relative-file-path
   			sftp://user[:password]@host/absolute-file-path
   			ex:  sftp://jane@192.0.2.254/tmp/file.pkg
  	load_uri : Possible values = tftp, ftp, sftp, scp, http, https
  	load_uri : User role required for set = a
  ->
  

  In the output, examples of the value for the property are displayed.
