Create a Custom Filter for the System Log (Oracle ILOM Web)

Whereas predefined filters enable comparison of the system log entries to one criterion, custom filters enable up to three criteria to be used for displaying system log contents.

1. Choose System Log.
2. From the Filter drop-down menu, select Custom Filter.

   The system log contains only entries that match the criterion you selected.

   ---

   Note -  You can display the entire system log by selecting All Entries from the Filter drop-down menu.

3. Specify as many of the filter criteria as needed:
   1. In the Component field, type the component that you want to be displayed.
   2. In the Type field, type the event type that you want to be displayed.
   3. From the Subsystem drop-down menu, select the subsystem that you want to be displayed.
4. Click OK.
