Add an Oracle ILOM User Account (Oracle ILOM CLI)

Oracle ILOM local user accounts must be configured on the switch to allow Oracle ILOM access to the SP. Oracle ILOM local users are limited to a maximum of 5.

• Type:

  -> create /SP/user/username
  

  where username is the name of the user's account.

  For example, to add a user named testuser, type:

  -> create /SP/users/testuser
  Creating user...
  Enter new password: ********
  Enter new password again: ********
  Created /SP/users/testuser
  ->

  Note -  New users are assigned the role of o (operator) or read-only by default, but you can change the user's role. See Change an Oracle ILOM User's Password or Role (Oracle ILOM CLI).
