Configure the Date and Time (Oracle ILOM CLI)

The switch has a system clock processor that supports keeping the date, time, and time zone. Typically, the system clock is programmed with time and date information as part of installing the switch and bringing it online the first time. However, you can you can change the date and time whenever you want.

Note -  If the switch has already been configured for NTP, setting the date and time will have no effect on the switch. When the switch is configured for NTP, the switch uses the NTP time signal instead.
  • Type:
    -> set /SP/clock datetime=MMDDhhmmYYYY

    where MMDDhhmmYYYY is the month, date, hour, and minute as two digits, and the year as four digits.

    For example, type:

    -> set /SP/clock datetime=101111112015
    Set 'datetime' to '101111112015' [Sun Oct 11:11:00 2015]
    ->

    Note -  Additional configuration is available for the switch's system clock. See Configure the NTP Client (Oracle ILOM CLI).
