Migrating Old Classifications into Wage Agreements

Before migrating old classification into agreements, ensure that a wage agreement has already been created to migrate the classifications into. Instructions on how to create a new wage agreement can be found here.

A list of your current classifications in WFM that will require migration will be displayed in the main page of Wage Agreements (Setup > Wage > Agreements) under "Action required".

To start the migration of an old classification, click on the “migrate” button to the right of the classification, this will load up the migration form.

NOTE: If existing employees are under one of these old classifications, DO NOT deactivate the classifications. This will cause payroll issues.

Repeat these steps for other classifications that will require migration. You would finish this process once there are no more items linked under "Actions required".

NOTE: If you pay employees under different awards or enterprise agreements, then add an agreement for each of these. An example would be that you are a multi-site franchisee with one site paid under the Modern Fast Food Award and another site paid under the Restaurant Industry Award. You will also need to add another Agreement if you use the same Award in different States that have different rates.
